I am a musician from Iceland who has released 30+ studio albums with various projects in the past 15 years.
I’m a founding member of the band Árstíðir (yes, you’ve seen us in a viral YouTube video singing in a train station), and I’m also our PR and media guy.
I’ve produced songs for Eurovision and composed music for TV & Film. This year my score for Fractures was nominated for Best Music at the Icelandic TV Awards Eddan.
I’m currently wrapping up my first book on Scandinavian Music (Definitely Maybe) where I outline my views on the Scandinavian Music Wonder using the Faroe Islands as a case study.
I’m looking forward to meeting thoughtful people from all walks of the bizz, but also share my insights on a rapidly changing music industry which has drastically transformed my way of releasing music and running bands.
